EXTREME Marital Make-Over

Assess, evaluate and restructure marital relationships

OBJECTIVES:

This class challenges the idea that, “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”  Most of the time the “brokenness” is ignored and left to fix itself.  The result is often failure.

GOALS:

Like any successful business, partners need to assess, evaluate, and restructure marital relationships.  Throw out what doesn’t work, and replace it with something that will enhance the relationship.

PROCEDURE:

Assess, evaluate and reconstruct eh relationship using the following ten steps.

1.    Jump start your relationship.

2.    Strengthen your spirituality and communication.

3.    Overhaul the romance/sex in your relationship.

4.    Let go of the past.

5.    Apply critical thinking.

6.    Choose quality over quantity.

7.    Rebuild trust and intimacy.

8.    Move from the past to the present.

9.    Create healthy relationship boundaries.

10. Review Progress.

It is important that you and your partner work together and agree to give your relationship an “Extreme Marital Make-Over”.  It is also important to agree on all the important decisions made in your relationship.  Being partners and working together to achieve the same goals is of primary importance.
